W dniach 12-18 października 2018 w Porto Carras (Grecja) odbył się Klubowy Puchar Europy.
W turnieju otwartym drużyna AVE Novy Bor (Republika Czeska) zajęła 2 miejsce. Radosław Wojtaszek na 1 szachownicy zdobył 4 punkty z 6 partii. Natomiast Mateusz Bartel jako rezerwowy zawodnik wywalczył 2 punkty z 2 partii.
Jolanta Zawadzka (5 szachownica) w drużynie ES Thessalonikis (Grecja) zdobyła 2 z 4.
Natomias w ekipie SF Wirtzfeld (Belgia) Artur Jakubiec na 1 szachownicy uzyskał 4.5 z 7 partii, natomiast Edyta Jakubiec (5 szachownica) wywalczyła 5 z 7.
Turniej kobiet wygrał Klub Cercle d’Echecs de Monte-Carlo z Monako. Monika Soćko grająca na 3 szachownicy zdobyła 5 z 7.
